Chemical Peels at JUSTsk.in
Our skin therapists will help you pick the peel solution to suit your specific needs
Worried about chemical peels? Don’t be!
We know the words “chemical” and “acid” might sound a bit scary, but our peels are completely safe and can give your skin a healthy glow, no matter the weather.
Our gentle chemical peel solution removes dead skin cells and encourages new ones to grow. This can help smooth your skin, reduce wrinkles, even out your skin tone, and fade acne scars.
For the best results, we recommend a series of 4-6 peels every 3-4 weeks, along with the right home care products.

What is a Chemical Peel?
A chemical peel is a non-surgical cosmetic treatment that uses an acidic solution to exfoliate the top layer of skin. This reveals fresh skin, stimulates cell growth, and boosts collagen production.
What Conditions Do Chemical Peels Address?
Chemical peels are effective for various skin issues, including acne, acne scarring, uneven pigmentation, sun damage, and fine lines. They can also rejuvenate the skin, leaving it radiant and refreshed.
What to Expect During Treatment
Most patients experience a mild tingling sensation that subsides quickly.
Recovery Time
Recovery time varies based on the type and strength of the peel. Your skin may feel tight and red initially, and you might experience light, fluffy peeling for 3-5 days. Use a gentle cleanser, moisturizer, and sunscreen to support healing and results. Avoid strenuous exercise and excessive sweating for 24 hours, and protect your skin from sun exposure while peeling. Avoid picking or peeling flaking skin to prevent scarring.
Why Didn’t I Peel Much?
The success of a peel isn’t solely measured by the amount of peeling. Even without significant peeling, your skin is still exfoliating and improving in tone, texture, fine lines, and pigmentation.
Is One Peel Enough?
For optimal results, a series of 4-6 monthly peels is recommended, starting with a lighter peel and gradually increasing strength.
Benefits of Chemical Peels
Chemical peels can improve skin texture, tone, and radiance. They can also enhance the effectiveness of your skincare products.
Types of Chemical Peels
We offer various peels based on your skin type and goals:
- Gel Peels: Superficial peels that gently exfoliate the outermost layer of skin.
- Glycolic Acid: Derived from sugar cane, it penetrates deeper skin layers to address fine lines and wrinkles, pigmentation, and uneven skin tone.
- Mandelic Acid: Derived from almond milk, it’s gentler than glycolic acid and suitable for all skin types.
- Salicylic Acid: Effective for acne-prone skin due to its bacteria-fighting properties.
- Peel Combinations: We can customize your treatment plan with a combination of peels to target specific concerns.
Chemical Peels for Acne
Chemical peels can help soothe acne-prone skin by improving texture, tone, reducing dark spots, and preventing breakouts. For severe acne, we might combine peels with IPL skin rejuvenation and targeted skincare.

Here are a few things to remember:
- Avoid lying down for at least 4 hours after your treatment.
- Don’t rub or touch the injected areas, and skip facials and massages for 48 hours.
- Go easy on vigorous exercise and alcohol-based products in the treated area for 48 hours.
If you get bruising, you can use Arnica cream. For mild pain, paracetamol is fine.
